Privacy
Your sun exposure history lives on your phone. Not on our servers.
Not in anyone's cloud. Health data (daylight, dose, burns, skin type) never leaves your device. No CloudKit, no iCloud sync, no exceptions. This is a design constraint, not a policy promise.
Health data stays on-device
No cloud sync of any kind, not even iCloud. Required by Apple's HealthKit rules, and better anyway. Limak servers only ever see anonymous UV-by-location requests.
No account required
Nothing to sign up for at MVP, nothing to delete, nothing to breach.
Sharing is always user-initiated
"Email your doctor" opens a pre-filled email in your own Mail app, sent from your own address, never routed through UVDose.
No advertising SDKs

Built to the Australian Privacy Principles from day one: zero accounts, and any personal info you do enter (like your name for a doctor report) never leaves your device unless you choose to send it.

UVDose is a wellness and education app, not a medical device. Outputs are framed as
sun-safety education and behaviour prompts: an "exposure score", not a "cancer risk score"; a suggestion
to "consider a professional skin check", never a claim that you are at high risk of melanoma. The dose
model cites public standards (WHO UV Index, SED, published MED ranges). UVDose does not diagnose, monitor,
or predict disease. Mole Monitor is documentation and comparison tooling only: it helps you photograph and
compare your own moles over time. It never scores risk or labels a mole "suspicious" or "benign". If you
notice a change in your skin, talk to your doctor.
